The Sony Ericsson FanWalk is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure for real music fans. 100 chosen young people from all over the world will walk from Hamburg to Berlin this year to celebrate themselves, their music, stars and life as such!

You must be a music fan, fluent in English, at least 18 years old and live in one of the participating countries. Membership of the FanWalk website is mandatory. Our allstars who were chosen as FanWalkers in 2008 are excluded from this year's competition.

Register on www.fanwalk.tv and create a profile. As creativity and substance are important, upload your coolest videos and pictures to your profile.

To become part of the final selection you have to get at least 50% of the "Off to Berlin"-Votes until the closing day.The jury then considers the creativity of your profile and originality of your answer to the application task. Furthermore the total amount (%) of your “Off to Berlin” votes is of importance. The jury will choose the most suitable candidate from every country and interview them before the final 100 FanWalkers are nominated.

If you participate in the FanWalk, you will fly to Hamburg on October 26th, 2009. You will get all important information when you're there. The FanWalk starts on the October 27th, 2009.and it ends on November 5th, 2009 in Berlin. Your flight back is booked for November 6th, 2009.

Voters may cast two votes – the „Off to Berlin“ Vote or the „Stay at home“ Vote. If more people vote you to stay at home than people vote you to Berlin, the number of „ Off to Berlin“ Votes can decrease Don't worry, inviting your friends from online networks and having them vote for you can counteract this. All you have to do is have a good time and enjoy this trip with 100 unique characters from different nations! Heaps of activities and challenges are waiting for you on the FanWalk! The Sony Ericsson FanWalk Team will prepare things in advance and notify you everything you need once you're chosen as a FanWalker,

Every FanWalker gets a ticket for the EMAs and Aftershow Party. One very lucky FanWalker will present an award live on stage!

The FanWalk is organised by a caring and professional team. They will take care of you during the whole trip.

Of course! On becoming a FanWalker you agree to take part in the media activites surrounding the FanWalk 2009 (film, photograps, interviews).

All costs for transportation, catering and accomodationduring the FanWalk will be covered by Sony Ericsson. You will receive a FanWalker Survival-Kit with a T-Shirt ( subject to change), a Sony Ericsson Phone and other useful stuff for the FanWalk. Sony Ericsson covers nearly all costs during the FanWalk. You should bring some pocket money, however.

No. Only FanWalkers can participate. You will have the opportunity to make great new friends on your way to Berlin.
